About Me
I’m Navjot Singh Grewal (I go by Sherry), an applied mathematics student at the University of Washington, Seattle.
My primary interests are in applied maths, modelling, and problem-solving. Alongside my academic work, I spend a lot of time reading, watching films, and learning languages. Outside class, you’ll usually find me working through a problem set, reading, or playing tennis or cricket.
In 2023, I attended PROMYS India at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where I received the Tara and Jasubhai Mehta Fellowship. The programme focused on number theory and problem-solving, and it strongly shaped how I approach conjectures, proofs, and mathematical exposition. I also completed an Exploration Lab and wrote an expository piece on Pick’s Formula and Euler’s Theorem. The number theory course taught by Professor Ila Varma, and its problem sets, were a particular highlight.
This site is primarily a place for my applied maths notes and projects. It also reflects some of my broader intellectual interests.
